1817. Purchased by Captain Joseph Andrews and sold by him to the Chilean Government.
5th March 1818. Arrived at Valparaiso. Converted to 3rd Rate, 52, and renamed ‘Lautaro’.
26th April 1818. Sailed from Valparaiso as a unit of Admiral Cochrane’s squadron, to blockade the Spanish frigate ‘Esmeralda’ and brig of was ‘Pesuila’ in Talcahuano Harbour.
